Game of Thrones: Nudity and Dragons

Game of Thrones Season 1 just ended last June and hardcore fans cannot wait for the next installment of this awesome fantasy series. This American medieval fantasy television series is created for HBO by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. Of course if it's HBO and medieval, then you can expect some nudity involved. The TV series is based on author George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series.

Game of Thrones production started on January of 2007. Season 1 Finale aired on June 19, 2011. After watching the first two episode, I was immediately drawn to the story. What I loved about the series is that the casting is huge. At first you would be confused and really have to remember all of the characters in order to understand the whole story. I personally don't read books so I don't know anything about the Song of Ice and Fire series. But I love Game of Thrones. Story is intense and full twists that you have no choice but to speculate and criticize the characters as if you were really there.

Nudity
When it comes with the nude scenes, HBO held back a little with this one. Compared to Spartacus and True Blood, this has fewer topless and sex scenes. But nonetheless still very entertaining for men. They even added gay lovers to cater the other sexes. Lena Headey did not bear nude on the first season. But I expect her to be on the next season. Emilia Clarke was one of the lead actresses who took of her clothes for the series playing as a young girl. Definitely sexy.

Some of the Main Casts of Game of Thrones Season 1:
Lena Headey  - Cersei Lannister
Jack Gleeson  - Joffrey Baratheon
Sean Bean - Eddard Stark
Michelle Fairley - Catelyn Stark
Emilia Clarke - Daenerys Targaryen
Iain Glen - Ser Jorah Mormont
Sophie Turner  - Sansa Stark
Maisie Williams - Arya Stark
Alfie Allen - Theon Greyjoy
Peter Dinklage - Tyrion Lannister
Nikolaj Coster Waldau - Jaime Lannister
Kit Harington - Jon Snow
 Jason Momoa - Khal Drogo

Here are the books of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" Series:
  • A Game of Thrones, Bantam Books, 1996
  • A Clash of Kings, Bantam Books, 1999
  • A Storm of Swords, Bantam Books, 2000
  • A Feast for Crows, Bantam Books, 2005
  • A Dance with Dragons, forthcoming/Bantam Books
  • The Winds of Winter, forthcoming/Bantam Books
  • A Dream of Spring, forthcoming/Bantam Books

Game of Thrones Finale (Spoiler Alert)
The season's finale ended with a bang. Many of the lead roles that you would think won't die, died. Like Eddard Stark played by Sean Bean was beheaded on the last episode. Khal Drogo played by Jason Momoa is also dead. These kinds of surprises makes the series more interesting. I love a series where you can't anticipate what would happen next. Of course this only applies to those who hadn't read the book yet.

They really left quite a teaser at the end of the finale. They really left the fans hanging at the end. It was frustrating because at the very end they show 3 small dragon beside Daenerys Targaryen. Now they show the dragons?! Now fans would have to wait a year for the next season. HBO ended it with Emilia Clarke slightly full frontal nude and 3 dragons wrapped around her.

Game of Thrones Season 2
When will Game of Thrones Season 2 air? The 10 episode Season 2 will likely air on April of 2012. This might be too long of a wait for others. They are casting extras in some parts of the UK and Ireland, but are not yet casting for bigger roles. Casting of Davos, JaQuen and Melisandre are also expected. They are hoping to get more well-known actors for the series. Season two will be George R. R. Martin's Clash of Kings, second book of the book series A Song of Ice and Fire.
